Ingredients
Smoothie base
- 1½ cups plain whole-milk kefir
- 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
- 1 medium banana, sliced
- 2 tbsp rolled oats
Wellness add-ins
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp raw manuka honey
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp fresh lemon zest

- 8 whole fresh blueberries

Instructions
- Measure kefir. Pour the cold plain kefir into the blender jug first so the blades spin freely and the probiotic cultures stay evenly distributed.
- Add fruits. Drop in the frozen wild blueberries, sliced banana, rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon and fresh lemon zest on top of the kefir base.
- Blend until creamy. Blend on medium-high for 50 seconds until the smoothie is a rich purple, silky and thick, and the oats are fully broken down.
- Finish and pour. Stir in the raw manuka honey by hand to protect its enzymes, divide between two glasses and top with fresh blueberries.
